
Selena Kwok
Architect AIBC, LEED AP, Associate
Selena joined LHRa in 2013 as a registered architect. She has contributed her design and leadership skills to a variety of projects including multi-family geared towards the not-for- profit agencies, dementia care, and seniors housing and Healthcare facilities. Recent work includes affordable and supportive housing projects working with non-profit organizations in collaboration with BC Housing.
As a LEED accredited professional, Selena has worked as the prime consultant on a number of LEED Gold certified commercial and residential buildings. She is the LEED consultant on Uplands Walk – a certified LEED Gold project and Boundary Crescent targeting LEED Gold certification. Her interest in sustainable design has led her to pursue further education in Passive House Design, completing the Passive House Designer courses in 2017. Selena has been involved in the current Nanaimo Affordable Housing Society’s 156 Bed Seniors Housing facility which is funded through BC Housing.
She enjoys the collaborative process of architecture and reaching a common goal alongside a team of consultants, contractors, and clients; developing projects from schematic design through to completed buildings.
