Paul’s professional experience spans 27 years managing multi-disciplinary teams for post-secondary institutions, libraries, public schools, recreation facilities, market and multi-family social housing across Canada. He has diverse master planning, facilities planning, design guideline development and public engagement experience, for municipal and public sector clients. His extensive experience with the design of institutional facilities started with his ten-year relationship with Teeple Architects in Toronto, where he oversaw the design and construction of academic buildings, libraries and public schools, including the Science and Engineering building for Guelph University, the Parrot Centre addition and renovations for Loyalist College and the Thorncliffe Park Public School for Toronto District School Board. Paul moved to BC to join the firm in 2005 and became partner in 2006. Paul is a versatile architect focused on achieving client goals through a thoughtful synthesis of program, site and materials, to create sustainable solutions that add value to the community. He has designed LEED Gold buildings, is a certified passive house designer and a current member of the Victoria Advisory Design Panel. Paul was the principal architect for most of the firm’s work with Camosun College, developed a master plan for Pacific Christian School and is currently overseeing the master plan to redevelop the Tyee Coop lands in Victoria.
