Adam Gerber holds a Bachelor of Science in physics from the University of Northern British Columbia, a Diploma in Aviation Maintenance Engineering from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, and a Certificate in Architectural Technology from Ryerson Polytechnic University. He is a registered Certified Technologist (CTech) under the Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of BC, and an accredited LEED AP under the Canadian Green Building Council.
Adam has worked as a senior technologist on many architectural projects ranging in scale from tenant improvements and heritage restoration to large complex buildings and master plans. He has been both LEED coordinator and in-house consultant on multiple LEED and advanced sustainable projects through all stages of design and construction. Adam has been a guest lecturer for the Sustainable Building Advisor Program, the Pacific Design Academy, and for the local Victoria Emerging Green Builders chapter. In this role he enjoys sharing innovative technologies and environmental practices with students of the built environment and the general public.
Adam’s two decades of involvement with multi-disciplinary technologies and design has enhanced his skills in the integration of sustainability, science, and art in architecture. He believes in sharing his experiences and learned wisdom to enhance the innovation for the sustainable built environment. He is currently enrolled in the RAIC Syllabus program and on the path towards becoming a registered architect.
