Wilson’s Walk Housing Project Breaks Ground

We are proud to announce that the Wilson’s Walk Affordable Rental Housing project is about to break ground this month.  The project will provide 108 new affordable rental housing units in the Vic-West neighbourhood of Victoria, BC.  The project is constructed by TL Housing Solutions for Pacifica Housing Advisory Association and represents the long awaited phase two of the Wing Development, also constructed by TL Housing Solutions of Vancouver.

LHRA Win Four VIREB Awards of Excellence

 

Low Hammond Rowe Architects received four awards of excellence for various projects on Vancouver Island  at the 2015 Vancouver Island Commercial Building Awards Dinner on April 23, 2015, sponsored by VIREB.

Uplands Walk Supportive Housing, owned by BC Housing and operated by Pacifica Housing Advisory Association  won in the ‘Community Institutional’ category.  Congratulations to our client Pacifica Housing, our LHRA team, CitySpaces Development Consultant, the consultants RJC Structural, Rocky Point Engineering Mechanical, RB Engineering Electrical, Herold Engineering Civil, Small & Rossell Landscape Architects and contractor Windley Contracting.

Vancouver Island Regional Library (VIRL) – North Nanaimo Branch won in the Community Institutional – Renovation Category.  Congratulations to our client VIRL, our design team at LHRA, the consultant team RJC Structural, WSP Mechanical, AES Electrical, Herold Engineering Civil, Gemella Design Inc. Landscape Architect, as well as the contractor Century Group Constructors.

Berwick By The Sea, owned by Berwick Retirement Communities Ltd, won in the multi-family category.  Congratulations to Berwick Retirement Communities, our LHRA design team, the consultants Trilogy Structural Engineering, Avalon Mechanical Consultants, Triumph Electrical Consulting, Highland Engineering Civil and Forsite Landscape Architecture.
